Shipping Policy

Overview

At Ekaara, we pride ourselves on delivering exquisite and often heavy handmade stone artworks and more. Our shipping policy ensures that each order reaches you safely, transparently, and in accordance with industry best practices.

Shipping Methods & Timelines

  • Domestic and International Shipping:
    We deliver throughout India and select international destinations using reputable logistics partners skilled in handling fragile and heavyweight items.

  • Packing:
    All products are securely packaged with industry standard materials to minimize the risk of damage.

  • Dispatch Timeline: Depending on the availability of the inventory and volume of the order dipatch time of a product may ary from 2-4 business days.

  • Estimated Delivery Timelines:

    • Domestic delivery: 7–14 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on location and item.

    • International shipping: 30–45 days, from the date of dispatch depending on your destination, logistics mode (air/sea), and customs clearance.

  • Tracking:
    Tracking details and estimated delivery times will be shared upon dispatch by the shipping partner. Please allow 1–2 business days post-dispatch for tracking updates.

Shipping Charges

  • Charges depend on product weight, dimension, value, and destination.

  • Orders containing oversized or custom pieces will be quoted individually before order confirmation.

  • Modifications to shipping address after dispatch may incur additional charges.

Delivery Process and Refusal

  • Inspect the outer packaging in the presence of the delivery agent. If external damage or tampering is apparent, customers may refuse delivery at the door, as permitted by most logistics partners.

  • For all accepted deliveries, inspect your items thoroughly before signing the delivery acknowledgment.

  • For any hidden (concealed) damage found after receiving and opening the package, please contact our support team within 24 hours and provide photographic evidence.

Returns

Ekaara does not accept returns under ordinary circumstances for our artworks, due to their high shipping costs and bespoke nature. Please refer to our Separate Returns Policy page for detailed information on eligible return cases and procedures.

Exceptions:

  • Order Fulfillment Errors:
    If you receive the wrong item, or a proven manufacturing defect is present due to Ekaara’s error, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with supporting documentation. If verified, we will cover all return/replacement shipping costs and issue a prepaid return label.

  • Damaged or Incomplete Deliveries:
    If your product arrives damaged or with missing components, refer to our claims process. Eligible cases will be addressed through replacements or refunds at our discretion.

Edge Cases and Unforeseen Circumstances

  • Force Majeure:
    Ekaara is not liable for shipping delays or lost/damaged shipments caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, governmental actions, pandemics, embargoes, customs holdups, or disruptions to carrier services.

  • Incorrect or Incomplete Address:
    Deliveries delayed or lost due to an inaccurate shipping address provided by the customer are not the responsibility of Ekaara. Additional charges or delays may occur.

  • Unclaimed Shipments:
    Orders not accepted or collected at the delivery address, or refused for reasons outside of product damage or mistake, will be considered abandoned after reasonable attempts to contact the customer. Additional charges may apply for reshipment.

  • Customs and Import Fees:
    For orders delivered outside India, the recipient is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees unless otherwise specified in writing.

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

  • Custom, personalized, installed, or made-to-order items are strictly non-returnable except where required by law or under our explicit exceptions.

  • Natural stone variations in color, texture, or minor irregularities are not considered defects.

Additional Terms

  • Any service adjustments, claims, or exception requests made after the stipulated timeline (24 hours from delivery) cannot be processed.

  • If delivery is not possible due to circumstances beyond Ekaara’s control, we reserve the right to cancel the order with a refund minus incurred shipping and handling fees.
